Purified Souls

Only a purified soul can truly love another soul. Impure hearts are inhibited from seeing eye to eye because of the weakness of the flesh. The flesh is full of itself. Every act of kindness is done for self promotion and for subjugation of the beneficiaries, except the soul is purified in the obedience of the truth of God's word, by the help of His Holy Spirit. This purging of the soul makes unpretentious love possible. Without it, every show of love is feigned. It's only in Christ that the soul is purified to live in peace with itself and with all men.

Have you ever seen a troubled sea? There's no peace within it and without. You cannot give what you don't have. "...Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another." (Mar 9:50) This salt can calm your troubled sea when it enters your soul to purge it and make it white as snow.

When the heart is cleansed you can see clearly that every man and woman is a blood relation, either in the flesh or in the spirit. Yes, every arm is yours to hold in all purity.

May the Lord help us. Amen.

1Peter 1:22 (KJV) "Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently."

1Ti 5:1-2 (KJV)  "Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren; The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity."

A Mighty Hunter Before the LORD

Gen 10:9 KJV He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.

"...before the LORD."

Many a time, men are oblivious of the obvious fact that we are before the LORD of the whole earth. This world that we transverse all belong to Him. "For in him we live, and move, and have our being..." Everything we do in this life is done before Him. Yet many disregard Him, having no care that we are before Him, who Himself is the Mighty One, incomparable.

This was the case with our subject, Nimrod, in the holy verse above. He was a hunter, a mighty one at that, and, much more, before the LORD!

Of all beasts that are known for hunting, the wolf is used in the Holy Book to describe a daring character before the LORD: a grievous wolf! The Lord Jesus Christ talks about wolves in sheep clothing. Such disguise is part of the hunting skill of the wolf.

Many a hunting wolf in the world of religion are scheming night and day to pervert unwary souls with their perverse speakings, targeted at drawing disciples after themselves. You know them by their fruits. They preach about their own qualities to endear your Darling soul to their charge. But alas, this thing is done before the LORD, even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD!

Act 20:29-32 KJV 29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. 31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. 32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
